sk8heaven: Ha!! [shocked]
I think we may have been camped next to you to the east. You had the nice yellow Tahoe with the trolling set-up for 4 rods (which I was REALLY admiring). What style trolling mounts are those and are they removable for travel? Also did you have a little spaniel dog? I should have been more friendly, but had our camper set-up on it's maiden voyage and was trying to figure out how everything works. Also all my rods were fouled up and I spent some time trying to re-rig and changing spools.
I also ran down to the Strawberry inlet on Sunday with no luck. Water was 55 degrees and I only marked fish along the middle of the channel. Also fished under the bridge for a while. Then proceeded up to the wash and saw one boat taking a few fish near one of the hazard bouys. I got the smallmouth along the west shoreline on rock drop-offs in 15' to 25' depths.
