Man would a 20lb wiper be fun... Better bring a 2X4 with some rope to try and land a fish like that. LOL.
I was talking to a F&G guy about the size they "predict" for the wipers at Willard. He told me maximum 8-9lbs, and that was because of the lack of any deep water there. He explained to me how the shallow water made them smaller, but I can't remember why. I guess I was thinking about catching a 9lb wiper.
Can anyone enlighten the board as to why they would not grow any bigger?
