Going monofilament
#4
I for one am a fan of Berkely Fireline. While fishing up in Canada, i had a large pike take my rapala and swim horizontal to the boat through a large clump of weeds, the weeds then rose because the line had sheared them off when the pike swam. Lots of people say good things about Fireline, like that its more sensitive which makes sense to me cause there is little to no stretching going on so you feel the strikes better or just the minute tapping because mono seems to stretch alot. Ive also heard rumors of it being tougher but i dont know what to believe yet.
