ok so I keep seeing post after post. so here is my 2 cents.
You got a lake not to big in size. It only get maby 50 to 75 fisherman on a good weekday and then maby 100-150 on weekend. (mind you these or nice numbers) Now all of the sunnden you got 2500 fisherman 100 or so voulenteers and who know how many snowmobiles power augers regular augers people walking all over drilling hole after hole and 2500 different types of bait......Lets say it together...Spooked. I did that fishing derby 3 years in a row as a teenager with my fathers when he lived up there and out of all 3 years I got 1 fish. I am not saying I am a great fisherman but when We would fish it during the week when the derby was not going we would always get at least a dozen fish a peice or so and twice that in the summer. So there you go just something to ponder.
