[#000000]Week #12. In a week where we saw the last of the unbeaten's fall victim to defeat, two quarterback giants going down with injury, a quarterback throwing for over 500 yards and losing, three shutouts, and finally a Sunday night game that involved history making performances, you could say Week #11 had its share of thrills. [#000000][/#000000]
[#000000]With that being said, we begin in Big "D" where the Cowboys derailed the Colts 21-14 ending their perfect season, while the Bears dominating defense was on display as they blanked the Jets 10-0. [/#000000]
[#000000][/#000000]
[#000000]The Patriots ended their two-game losing streak as they knocked out Brett Favre and the Packers 35-0, while the Panthers sacked Marc Bulger and the Rams 15-0. [/#000000]
[#000000][/#000000]
[#000000]The Chiefs scored on a late fourth quarter touchdown to sneak past the lowly Raiders 17-13, while the Bengals, behind another outstanding performance from Chad Johnson, beat the Saints 31-16 despite 510 passing yards from quarterback Drew Brees. [/#000000]
[#000000][/#000000]
[#000000]The Steelers used some crazy fourth quarter heroics to rally past the Browns 24-20, while the Titans stunned the Eagles 31-13 as well as knocking out quarterback Donovan McNabb for the rest of the season. [/#000000]
[#000000][/#000000]
[#000000]The Ravens won their fourth straight game as they lowered the "Boom" on the reeling Falcons 24-10, while the surprising 49ers and Frank Gore ran all over the Seahawks 20-14. [/#000000]
[#000000][/#000000]
[#000000]In the Sunday night game, the Chargers made history twice, as LaDainian Tomlinson scored four times to become the quickest player to reach 100 touchdowns, and the Chargers overcame a 17-point second-half deficit to beat the Broncos 35-27 to become the first team in NFL history to win back-to-back games after trailing by 17 or more points. [/#000000]
[#000000][/#000000]
[#000000]Finally, in the Monday night finale, coach Jack Del Rio sported a blue tie and the Jaguar defense followed suit, as they stifled and the Giants 26-10.
Time for pick on the Lions [angelic] again...[/#000000]
[#000000]Heck, lets not beat around the bush, lets just say it like it is ... this season stinks! Just when you think it cannot get any worse, we lose to the 1-8 Cardinals. A team that was in complete disarray and whose coach is facing the firing squad. A team that had lost eight games in a row! So what do we do? We lay another egg and lose to the second worst team in football. [/#000000]
[#000000][/#000000]
[#000000]So as we play the Dolphins this Thursday for our traditional Thanksgiving Day game, just a little word from the wise to Coach Marinelli. We realize this season is over and there is no reason to wear any sort of grin, Detroit fans are upset now, but imagine how we will feel if JOEY returns to Ford Field on Thanksgiving Day and walks away with a win.[/#000000]
[#000000][/#000000]
[#000000]sorry for the delay in posting this, cause that is just what happened, Joey never looked better on Ford Feild. You might say he had his best game ever on Ford Feild, detailing the lions that is...[/#000000]
[#000000][/#000000]
[#000000]and afterwords, Joey served up a Thanks Giving banquet of crow an a healthy helpin of humble pie to his former team mates.
Dont ya just love traditions, Lions loosing on Turkey Day, and now we can add a new one, Lions gets wooped by the quarter back they dumped on Turkey Day....[]
Might I say, it got ugly long befor the game ended, the fans blew them selves right on out of the stadium long before the game ended. Its my guess that those thousands of fans who left early did so because they were over parked or they heard their moma calling, I realy dont think it was the stench of the lions getting skinned alive by the quarterback that they had canned just last season.
well we now know two things from this, it wasnt the quarterbacks falt for the past bad seasons, and it wasnt the coaching for the past bad seasons. If any thing its gotten worse since they left.....
ok ok, I will quit now, the lions drove enough nails in to this years coffin, they dont need me to stand there with a Botch pnumatic stud nalier..[sly] dont ya just love foot ball? [cool][/#000000]
