[black]First off, as a guide, I welcome anyone that knows what they are doing (as you do DKS) with open arms. The thing about fishing down one side of the river, I would guess because the boat in front of you would probably scare the fish away.[/black]
[black]Myself, I would offer flies that I know work, but if you wanted to try your own, fantastic! The idea is to make the client happy and if you used your own and they worked, I would say you would be a happy camper. The only thing left for the guide is to try to put you onto the fish and any other assistance (knots in line, reties, landing, etc.) and lottsa pictures[cool].[/black]
[black]Basically I try to become a friend to the client, that way they are more relaxed, specially if something stupid happens, you can both laugh about it....like friends.[/black]
[black]But, that is just me, my mom always told me I wear my feelings on my sleeve (which means I always worry about other people)[unsure][/black]
