Hey Mike,

Yeah, that pic definitely looks like it's from Mead. Either Calville Bay or Echo Bay. Those are some good size stripers. I know what you mean about the top water action. At night the top water action is excellent at Temple Bar. During Fall and Winter, we usually use 4 - 6 lb test to cast out a cut piece of anchovy with one ball bearing weight (for further reach). As soon as the anchovy hits the water, we start reeling in the line, within a second or two tops, we've got a striper on the line. They're not big fish but it's fun to catch a bunch.

I'm hoping my friends and I can get out to Temple Bar on December 26 for a 4 day houseboat trip. I just returned from an 8 day trip in October, and I'm already suffering from serious Mead "withdrawals." I'll let you know if we end up heading to Mead in the last week of December.
