Its a bit hard to believe but up until about a week ago the ponds have been frozen. No, not the kind of "frozen" you Utah folks call frozen, but definitely too frozen for even the heaviest Wooly Bugger to break through. Aside from mounting an ice breaker on my tube, I've been out of ideas and opportunities. I've been doing a little steelhead fishing but that's it - fishing but not much catching.
