Wow I thought I was the only one that believed that rods had some mojo. I have one old spinning rig that my little brother closed in a car door many years ago that seamed like it could catch fish in a parking lot in the middle of the city. the replacement is good just not as good. Ohh well, glad to hear you got a good replacement, and sorry to hear about some Jack-hole taking your stuff.
