A bunch of years ago a friend of mine caught a trout out of Deer Creek but we could not positively identify the fish. We decided it had to be an albino Brown because of the very light color. My friend took the fish to the Springville DWR office and was told that it was a Brown. The light color comes from the fish being in deep water. The more time the fish spends in the deep water, the lighter the color becomes. As they spend time in shallow water, they take on a darker color.
