Catfight at the LB Corral 3-16-07
#21
[cool][#0000bf]In spite of the fact that we got into some cats, I am not sure I would recommend Lincoln Beach for someone not familiar with it, but it can be good for all species. I will be down there Sunday, fishing in the flats to the east of the end of the dike.[/#0000bf]

[#0000bf]I have not fished it yet, but plan to soon, and that is Lindon Harbor area. It is usually good early in the season both around the dikes and a couple of other places nearby. One of those is the mouth of the "ditch", right out off the garbage processing station to the north of the harbor. The other is south of the harbor at the "bubbleup". You will recognize this area by the string of marker buoys coming out from shore. It is a good place to anchor and soak minnows or crawlers. You can catch walleyes white bass and cats there. Earp too.[/#0000bf]
[#0000bf][/#0000bf]
[#0000bf]If you want to toss lures or jigs, throw white, chartreuse, or combos of black/chartreuse, black/purple, white/chartreuse, green/orange or other high vis combos. For extra attraction, add a small piece of worm to the hook.[/#0000bf]
[#0000bf][/#0000bf]
[#0000bf]Small silver spinners work well for white bass and the occasional walleye too. They will also hit small silver crankbaits.[/#0000bf]
[#0000bf][/#0000bf]
[#0000bf]Once you find a productive area you can have a lot of fun, but the fish are often scattered. [/#0000bf]
[#0000bf][/#0000bf]
[#0000bf]Good luck.[/#0000bf]
