I've never tried anything like that. My prefered bait for panfish are wax worms. They are 3.75 per container and they work great. They are a small white worm, a perfect "bite size" morsal for those wonderful little ankle biters. [

I'm going to try a different rig this season for panfish. Instead of the traditional bobber w/ a split shot half way down then a hook, i'm going to use a tiny lead head jig for the hook and weight, then thread the wax worm on the hook. I think it'll work great. [cool]
