Hey, did you notice the big stab/cut wound on that bass in the second pic? I have been noticing this kind of 
istic fish mutilization alot everywhere. Especially with bluegills, bass, trout, and even white bass. I didn't have a chance to collect pics yet. But yours is a good example. This a really mean thing to do, cutting and releasing fish like that. Since you are out on the water alot, please help find out who's doing this fish torture and have them turned in. Please keep your eyes open. Some fish have obvious opens sores as in your pic. Some have hunks dug out of their backs. Some merely have straight cuts or slashes on their sides that penetrates the skin. Thanks for helping to protect fish.
