hi lonewolf , i see you made it over to farmer tims to collect maple sap the old fashioned way . isn't it neet ? it looks and tastes just like water before you cook it down into liquid gold . it tastes better than any store bought stuff . farmer tim uses a quad with a 30 gallen tank on the back , he collects the sap from an average of 250 trees , then he puts the raw sap into a collection/holding tank , from there it goes to the cooker to be boiled down , filtered and transformed into the best maple suryp anywhere .

you are very lucky lonewolf , there are very few people in the world that have been able to do what you did this weekend .
