There are a number of reasons i went with the Extrema II.
First was the lower rib on the barrel. Point of impact ribs work better for me.
Second was the influence of MANY friends that have shot the super black eagle and are trading them in for the extrema II due to malfunction in very cold weather.
Third was the price. The black ex II was $400 cheaper than the SBE. You can buy recoil reducer exII's for $1500 but i ain't scared of a little 3 1/2" mag.[

Fourth was the overall feel of the gun and the different spacers and adjustments you can do to the gun.
I compared 5 or 6 guns and price was not an issue on deciding as my wife told me i could "get what i wanted".[shocked]
Overall i h\think i got the best guy i could buy.
