[black]It does have the suction cup and it works fantastic. I found that by wiping the suction cup with a damp rag, it will hold for days.[/black]
[black]I will also say that the base is big enough that I have been able to tie several different flies without even using the suction cup.[/black]
[black]I carry a piece of plexi-glass about 14"x12" for a standard base that works great, plus a place to put my hooks so I can see them.[/black]
[black]Mine has been personalized and I have the standard and the midge jaws.[/black]

[black]The really nice thing about this vise is it is so adjustable. You can tilt, twist and turn to any comfortable position. I even made a simple bobbin holder for using it as a rotary out of a coat hanger. I hear they have all sorts of accessories in the works for these vises including a small drying motor for one side while you tie on the other. I take my fly tying way serious LOL, but I am a professional[
