When you take the concealed permit class they will inform you of all the rules. Utah is the "HOT SPOT" for permits since it is honored in 26-28 different states I believe!!! I took the class in Feb. and sent my info into BCI and I didnt receive my permit until mid-June, so it takes a while since they only have 3 people there doing all the background checks. If you need any other info shoot me a PM. Also you can go to [url "http://bci.utah.gov/"]http://bci.utah.gov/[/url] and they should have some info for you too.
