5 piece rod and a quality ultra light spinning reel. This actually fits in a suitcase or backpack. Pretty slick. I'm actually thinking about getting one. I have a few ultra lights, but nothing that comes appart in such a small package.
It's rated for 4 pound line, so you could string it up with 10 pound super braid and land some pretty decent sized fish with the proper application of skill and technique.
