...in answer to your one question.. yes I have float tubed a couple of times with tn2 and a few others from this board.. I love it.. but.. the lakes closest to me usually allow tubing but because of concerns with the outbreak of the quagga snail (I think that is their name) tubing is not allowed.. I have a choice.. wait to tube on lakes with the other guys or .. go fishing on lakes I am familiar with even without the tube.. and then also make as many trips with the guys here tubing.. in my mind the second choice is the only logical one.. ...hopefully tn2 and I will be able to hook up and he will bring different rods he has talked about and show me/let me try/experiemnt with them befoe I buy something I will end up not using very much..
... so with the help of my fishing friends here I am sure I will make a wise decision and not waste my money...
