Rod Lengths Used Fishing From Pontoon Boat

I just looked at the ECS and for the 6/7 at 12'4" where the EDH at 6wt 12'6 and a 7wt 13' I think it will come down to the flex of the rod which one will better. The DEC I know feels good, not noodlie at all and they are made for lighter lines. Like I said, 4wt to 9wt.
I have not felt the ECS. I know in Glass and less expensive rods they will list them by two sizes. Personally I prefer the designated weight to be one or the other.
