How did you dump your sled??
Rookie mistake. Crossing the lake several miles from the lodge. We were moving fast to stay on top of the slush, you know, as long as you don't stop on the soft stuff your all right. When the sled goes from high rpms and low traction of the slush monster to the great traction of the hard deck it can end up sliding sideways fast, tipping over, or rolling over. I guess I did'nt recognize where the slush monster ended and the hard deck began, maybe I was going to fast, and I certainly did not compensate for the change of direction the sled made. Anyway, ended up tipping the sled over and striking the ice, separating my left shoulder. Good thing I was wearing a helmet!
4 wheelers on the ice? You love adventure more than I!
Saw pics of your new boat a little while back, how is it coming along?
Fired the port engine last weekend after rebuilding it. First time it has ran in three years. It sounded great, however, the intake manifold leaked so a new gasket next weekend. Maybe we will get it right this time! I can only work on it one day a week right now so progress is slow but steady. Hope to have it cruising the lake by mid April.
