[green][cool]Went to a local regional park to wet a line. Water was so stained that visibility was about 6 to 8". Since I didnt see any surface feeding decided to do some nymphing. While swatting patterns of the lake a good size fish broke the surface in front of some reeds to my right. This trashing continued back and forth within 10-15' away. Then right below my feet and I was surprise to see that it was a carp. Didn't know that these lakes [4 in the park] contained any carps. Tried a variety of flies but really I have no idea what kind might attract a carp. Any body have any thoughts on this?[/green]
