Do you want just one of my favorites? I will tell you though, that as my name would suggest, I love the Boulders, the Uintas, and Kolob. I would have to say one of my favorite kinds of fishing holes are tiny, mountain trout streams. There are never big fish, but the scenery is unbeatable without a doubt, and you can catch a lot of the most colorful fish you've ever seen in your life. That is were you learn to practice catch and release, and just how valuable fish are. The only thing is that they are usually overgrown, so it is hard to fly fish in them.
I will name one that is close to my heart and home and that is Leeds Creek in Oak Grove. It runs right off of Pine Valley so it is cold and clear. The cutts never fail to stun me, and despite the amount of people, it is never fished out. It has hard access so waders work real well so you can hit all the virtually unfished holes. Basically I like anywhere that I can be alone, and be perhaps the last person to fish it in several years. Not many places like that, but that is what makes them an even more valuable treasure.
