Please take a moment to register it's Free and comes with a lot of great benefits. Like Free lures to test, fishing stuff to win and a lot of other valuable info.
The Roanoke River has world class fishing for Stripped Bass when the spawn starts. The catch and release is still allowed but the upper river is still under the Barbless Hook Regulation until June 30 only a single barbless hook or lure with a single barbless hook (or hook with barb bent down) may be used.
There are some guides for the upper river but you don’t need them to fish the Roanoke. Most all places in the river are good to fish. Anywhere you stop to fish you will catch some type of fish.
Rates run around $250 for a 4 hours of fishing. Here are some Link to some guides on the Roanoke River.
