lovely. they reopen it to boats so 200 A'holes (pardon my french) can kill the fish they dont want like they did when it was first opened after the dam repairs?
not to sound callus, but that was pure crap. wall to wall boats, and everyonce in a while you would see a nice 5 to 6 lb rainbow floating in the water dying cause some guy caught one that was a little bigger and decided he dident want the 5lber.
i am fully aware that not everyone is like this, and by that i mean 90% of the fishing community, but come on! not to mention the fact that DWR drilled holes in the ice and nothing but dead shrimp burped out. Then you hear about the 60 to 75% winter kill estimates, now they open back to baots?
im sorry, i know this is not spinney, but for petes sake increase your patrols DWR!
my opinion, and take this with a grain of salt, limit antero for the next few years to wind, and hand powered watercraft, ie toons and tubes.
