I was not entirly correct in saying that Urethane doesn't stretch...it does, it just doesn't balloon. It is thicker walled and will last MUCH longer. Vinyl is thin, in fact a rip has on occasion occurred from a fold in the bladder.
With Urethane being thicker and more durable, it can hold more air pressure, making it more buoyant.
