[cool]My dear halibut. Do you really believe that I would profess to be "the compleat angler" without casting gear. It is the fourth row back, in the picture. If you look in my most recent post, with the two catfish, you will see that the rig at the rear or the rod rack is a casting rod. I do own and use several casting setups, from light to heavy flipping.
Actually, jig tying takes only a small amount of space. "THE WALL" includes many boxes of assorted plastic baits, spoons, hardbaits, spinnerbaits, buszbaits and other lures. One section is for rod building. Another for nothing but hooks...for flytying, jig making, plastic baits, bait fishing, etc. Many of the plastic compartmented boxes on the right side of the room are indeed full of jig heads. Some are plain unpainted lead. Many are painted. With all of the different sizes, styles and colors, I need a system of organization to keep them straight. That means that about two times a year I have to go through all the boxes and put everything back together again after just grabbing before a trip and dumping after coming back.
Maybe I should come over some weekend and we can have a charity carwash...so that Halibut can get a "wall". Better yet, let's go "wash" some lures together on the water. That sounds like more fun to me.
