I tried to try Dacey, thinking it should be lights out being closed most the time. There is no ramp like at the other lakes for starters. So we thought not a problem we don’t have a trailer anyway just throw the Jon boat in and we are good.... Problem, the lake was surrounded by a 10-15 yard mud line from where water had receded. This was like most things at Kirch, super. Super winds, super mosquitoes, super weeds…this was super mud! And one lost sneaker later... you get the picture. Frustrated and wanting to get to Cold Springs or Hay meadow to wash the mud off ourselves we did not even try to fish off the dam... Next time maybe. [fishin]
