AMEN! I thought I was the only one. I do allot of fly tying shows and gratious host always give us little gifts, like midge whip finisher, head cement, scissors, etc.
I have always had a problem with the head cement getting really thick, and when I try to thin, it isn't quite right.
That is why I now only use clear fingernail polish, plus I use it elsewhere[

But on my chironomids, it is the best.
