That is why I mention Sally Hansen Hard As Nails. I had purchased a bottle of this stuff years before I started tying. Used it to coat a split nail to prevent it from traveling. Don't you just hate it when your nail catches on everything? I also use Pro Epoxy purchased from Home Depot. Mix the quantity desired from two separate tubes.
