I guess my problem with the head cement is first like Brook said, I had some I watched thicken in a closed bottle.
But, the other thing was, I need to get organized. I do prefer to coat the thread on the last step, which means the jar stays open for awhile depending on how many flies I tie. Pain in the keester tightening the lid on the jar after each fly.
It would make more sense to tie the flies then ad the cement to all of them, but as I said, I coat the thread.
I can leave the SH open for hours or at least slightly open with brush in it and it doesn't change the thickness.
It is what works for my style.
