25" trout in the 6 or 7 lb range. That's what your saying. I'm going to side with Kat.
Let's get realistic. Have any of you guys really thought how much 7 lb. really is? Try a gallon jug of water. You figure your fish was about the same weight?
Bags of sugar are 5 and 10 lb.
Put a bag of sugar in your net and pick it up then do the same with a gallon of milk then tell me your fish was that heavy.
You seem to want to guess length and weight of a fish, post it,then jump down someones throat for doubting you. And Orvie, I didn't read anything from him calling you a liar either. If someone doesn't want any disputes, tape measures are sold at hardware stores and you can get a digital scale at most sporting goods and fishing shops.
And for what it's worth, you caught a damn nice fish.
