Holy smokes people I didn't mean to cause a fight. [crazy] Orvy and I have apologized to each other and moved on. I do appreciate fish porn as much as the next guy. Next time I'll keep my mouth shut and enjoy.
That aside, the whites are picking up on the web. I stood shin deep in a pod of 50-60 and picked them up all day (last count after three hours was around 25). The secret was a size 18 beadhead flashback pheasant tail. Light bite so set often at any hesitation. Good size and heft to them all, pushing 18 inches or so. Very good fight in them. Treat them well and return them if you aren't going to eat them, they are not trash fish. Hit the area around devil's slide in the deep holes, get your nymph down to the bottom.
