i opted to go to Painted Rocks and look for the elusive pikers.... well i succeeded in logging another day full of things not to do when attempting to catch pike [
] Oddly enough... I found the perch in as little as 6ft and no more than 15ft of water, they all bit on pike setups (or what i would call a pike setup) ... 3" tube being the smallest.... i caught numero ten at 4 and that ended my party....
I think my next step will be to just let that perch swim until something bigger comes along to gobble him up..can that be counted as live bait? [] .... all right, prolly not a good idea.... very nice pics.
