It might be a Blue Pike. A speices of Pike known only to the Great Lakes, and thought extinct in the '70s. They had large Walleye like eyes and pike like bodies. The picture I found appears to be a Walleye/Blue Pike Hybrid, the ones I remember from my youth were more silvery and had bigger teeth, but you'll get the idea. If it was a Blue Pike and you can catch it, it's worth 500 bucks. See the following link.
