Being at the edge of the desert on the foot of the Mtns, fish do things a little early around here. Perchies and others types of fish have learned to spawn early. Waters temps in some of our mid level resivoirs don't get much over 70 degrees all year. The spring spawners have learned to make do in a variety of temperatures. Some years spring can start in late feb-early march. Other years like last year, spring got going in mid to late june.

Utah Lake should open up in the next 10 days or so.
