Fat Cats at Lincoln Beach 3/14/09

TD you're welcome in my boat anytime you want!!! [Smile][fishin] I would be more than grateful for any info you would care to share. Like I said yesterday I have your posts to thank for giving my son and I the walleye bug 2 winters ago.
Some of my moments of greatest satisfaction have come from putting in the research homework and then going somewhere and figuring it out on my own. Having spent most of my life in Idaho there wasn't a whole lot of water I or my father or grandfather had not fished there. The experience last year of figuring out where to go and how to catch fish at Yuba and Starvation was a fantastic opportunity for me to teach my 14 year old son that you don't need Grandpa to hold your hand everytime, although it is usually easier. I'm trying to instill in my boy that the learning and studying doesn't stop when you finish school. Learning to fish in Utah has been a great opportunity for that.
In the mid 90's I was stationed in Pensacola, Florida and when I wasn't on the road doing air shows I was trying to figure out the poor man's fishing in the intercoastal water ways. I think my son likes to fish so much now because all he ate for protein the first year and a half of his life was redfish, flounder, speckled trout, mackeral, and chicken.
