Kirch 17April
#3
Heya Whizzle,

I need to get me a cheapie digital for taking pics on the water. My old one crapped out on me a few years ago and I dare not take the wifes nice one Smile.

I am excited tho about Kirch. I didn't go there at all last year. Prior to that I had probably fished it a couple times a year for the last 10 years. I remember when Adams-McGill was drained and they were working on it to improve the trout habitat there. Back then, when I fished any of the Kirch lakes all I'd get is really small stocker trout. In that time I've seen the fishery develop quite nicely. It is starting to remind me of Comins in it's heyday. The reason I'm thinking this is because every trout, even the small ones, I caught yesterday were really well fed and fat, just like the ones I used to catch at Comins. I fish a lot of different trout lakes and rarely do I see fish so well fed. Makes me think the lakes are only going to get bigger and better as the years go on. I also landed a nice male 2lber along with the 2 1/2 lb female.

Anyhow, let's hope that Kirch continues to develop into a fishery like Comins was... it was truly awesome in it's heyday!

Later,
Mark
