back out on commerce lake again today, I waded out, the temps in the spring areas are about 42 and the temps in the sandy ares are about 65,
the gills will be of the beds any day now after have droping their eggs and the males have don their job as well.
my first fish was a 12 inch small mouth, my second was a rock bass, finaly after getting to my spot I started bringing in 8 inch pan fish (gill & seed) I brought home a total of 18 - 8 inchers and threw back any thing smaller.
time wise I was out for about 4 hours, I spent more time untieing my stringer and putting the fish on and retieing my stinger. (gotta get me a floating basket)
in a day or two and a couple suny days the water temps will be just right for the pads to start growing.
