I really like Smith and Moorehouse. There are two campgrounds, one above and one below the resevoir. Both campgrounds are in pines. The upper one is right by the inlet, so if you have kids, you might want to stick with the lower campground. The main road is on the west side. Many people canoe there, but boats with motors are not prohibited and there is a boat ramp. Most of the shore fishing is done from the West side too.
Most of the fish are planters, but sometimes you'll be rewarded with a brookie. The last couple of years I have caught some smaill tiger trout.
