newbie float tuber

[cool]Hey lvrider, I've been tubing mead for about six years now. All the lures you got will work. Anything that resembles a shad will get you bit. Sometimes the size of the lure may come into play. Try any of the coves around 33 hole and you'll hookup. The hike down to the water isn't bad and you can choose which cove looks the besy at the time. If you see them boiling on the shad, toss the lure past the boil or to the side. There are fish all uder the surface. I've caught them 50 yards from the surface activity on spoons and kastmasters. If you hit the center of a boil, they go down but pop up somewhere else. I've also had my tube puctured by thier spines. I don't club them but put them on a longer stringer. I like them alive before heading back in,especially when the heat is on. Good luck on your adventure.
