Commerce Lake Fishing Report
#66
report for today,

another beurtiful day for latchin big mouths,

though it is a little windy the weather is perfect for them bucket mouths. I respun my spool with some new 4 pound test line and hobbled out to the lake.

I walked down to the lake with anticipations of getting is some bass casting and found the boats were running on top the weeds chopping them down. we only have a few weed beds on our lake yet the water skyers need thos few little weed islands for their play ground.

I did not bother wading in because of all the desterbance in the water from the boats I could not see tbe bottom, I like to see where I am walking, them clams are rather large and if I got my big toe cought in one I would have to break the law and pull the clam out of the lake to get my big toe back; insted I stood there from shore and casted out my number #1 Mr twiser, I pulled in 10 bass in less than half an hour, nothing of leagle size, the largest was 11 inches.

I some how managed to pull in a one inch blue gill on that twister. lol that was one hungry gill, the twister was bigger than the gill lol.

I gave up casting from shore after about a half hour, about every other cast I was pulling in bits of weeds cut up by the boats. they kept clogging my spinner messin up my action.

Its saturday, I guess that is to be expected lol, at least I have 5 days a week where I can walk in to the lake and get in some action...

maybe I can sneek in early tomarow morning before the skiers crawl out of their cumfie cushions...[crazy] I have to get me a legal for the 16 pic contest...
