Commerce Lake Fishing Report

I went out monday from 11 - 5, the bite was a bit slower than last week.

I caught 15 bass, both small mouth and large mouth. nothing legal.

I caught a couple rock bass

I caught about 30 of the gill family, I kept 8 of the 8 inch class.

the water was clear concidering all the boat traffic from the prior two days. the water temps were cooler as well, I guess the boats sturred up the cold water from the bottom of the lake. I guess the whole lake will be getting worm down deap this year.

I spotted a big ol gater snapper, he saw me too. when he did he turned and started twards me, I got a little nervous, I need my diggits to count at night when I cant sleep.lol

I saw lots of carp today, would have been a nice day for a bow. I saw one bigger than the one I caught. now I will have to try for him. (not with the fly rod, I still ake from the last time[sly])
