Southern California Saltwater Report 6/25-7/1
#2

Hey there guys,

Southern California Saltwater

Report for June 26, 2003 (Thursday)

Way Up North- Avila
Lots of salmon caught for the boats that got out!

Up North- Channel Islands
Halibut and bass make a good showing. Capt Hook 26 Halibut!

LA Area- Catalina Island
Calico Bass and Barracuda good for 3/4 day boats Overnighters are picking away other doing better.

Further South- San Clemente
Heard of nothing but wish I did!

San Diego- Coronados
Bass and Barracuda counts are hit and miss. The albacore bite is fantastic on the multi-day boats.

LA Local
Lots of boats getting 5-8 fish per rod averages with the catch being a mixed bag of Calico, Sandies, and Barries. Same story where the high count boats are doing good where ever they go!
