1. The new SIRUS stuff is freaking high speed. So, start there with your Radar capabilities.
2. create a screen that truely is sunlight readable. What a joke, I haven't seen one yet that truely is.
3. make sure it's linkable to other systems on the boat, like VHF, radar/SIRUS, etc..
4. Affordable
5. Truely WATERPROOF, not splash resistant crap.
6. Flush or surface mountable.
