light line vs. heavy line

our state record lake trout and the world record for lake trout was light lined in by a kid . i think he was 12 or 14 years old . he had 4 or 6 lb. test and the fish was up there in weight , 80 or 100 lbs . i'll have to look it up and see if i can get the story . it was only a couple years ago .

if i rember it right it took him a couple of hours to bring it in , not bad for getting a world record title .
