Southern California Saltwater Report 6/25-7/1
#9

Hi there guys,

Southern California Saltwater

Report for July 1, 2003

Way Up North- Avila
Salmon and Albies being caught at Chris's

Up North- Channel Islands SEASON OPENER!!!!
Looks like all the landings up there had boats out there were good counts of rockfish on most boats.

LA Area- Catalina Island
Good reports of Calicos, Barracuda. Legacy had 44 WSB today! Victory did OK and Pierpoint did great + 2 yellowtail and 1 25lb WSB!

Further South- San Clemente
No News

San Diego- Coronados
Local fishing was OK with 4 fish per rod of mixed species. Albacore boats did well.

LA Local
Results were not uniform as some landngs had boats that limited on Calicos and Sand Bass while others numbers were looooooooooooow. Calicos are still being caught in greater numbers than Sandies so the rush is not on as yet.

Give the Sandies another two weeks as the water at the Horseshoe is 67 degrees!!!!!

Tomorrow starts a new week. I going again tomorrow. YeeeeeeeeeeHaaaaaaaaaaaaa
