Fly fishing for stocker rainbows
#23
[quote peter805]You did GOOD. Remember that fly fishing for stockers
is not easy.
Now, when I go to eastern sierra fly fishing for trout up
there............................
Well, lets just say that I will outfish bank tanglers or power
baiters by a huge number.[Smile]
So, don't worry about that. Your time will come.

Well I was not too disappointed. Last weekend I had a 70+ fish weekend up in the Ely area of Nevada. Hit up Comins lake, Cave lake, Illipah and a couple streams. Posted about it w/ pics in the Nevada forum. Guess I probably should have posted it here hehe. Here is the link if you want to check it out..

[quote macfly55]since the others were getting em on spinners you may want to try a pistol pete in like grey, off white, chartreuse or even red.. if you have or get any with red in them those will probably work as well..
