for your benifit, this is not a stunded gill, It is a small fry.

a stunted gill will be stocky taller in hight and fatter in girth.

When they are long and slender they are still growing.

below are pic of gills I have caught, and mind you gills are a favorit at my table. Far exceeding trout and salmon. and yes I fish for those as well...
