how to add oars to a float tube?

Is glue going to be strong enough? There will be allot of torque on those extensions.

As far as oar holders, you might want a clamp because the oars will twist while rowing, But you are right in something loose in the extension for pivot.

But the oars need to move up and down plus side to side so some kind of swivel
